Problem/Opportunity: Indigo was a little late out of the gate to build a mobile app, but knew it had to have one to capture new eCommerce revenue. It also wanted to re-think how consumers engaged with Indigo’s loyalty program, as well as create an omnichannel shopping experience across its over 200 physical stores.
How I Helped: I was the product lead on the launch of the Indigo mobile app across iOS and Android platforms. App features included a mobile Indigo loyalty card that could be scanned at Indigo store locations, member points/transaction history information, the ability to search for a product from millions of SKUs, creating a wishlist of favourited products, and the ability to purchase products directly from the app.
Business Outcome: The public launch of a 4.5+ star rated best-in-class retail – and omnichannel – app that successfully leveraged mCommerce and digital loyalty capabilities.
